Build Tools for Visual Studio is a tool for producing original and managed MSBuild applications without the need to install Visual Studio. When you install this program, you have the option to install the C ++ compiler and libraries like MFC, ATL, C ++ / CLI, .NET and net support. The tool was introduced in 2015 as Visual C ++ Tools, with the advantage of being able to compile C ++ applications without installing additional expense, including the heavy IDE for Visual Studio. The tool was later expanded by adding optional components such as ATL, MFC, NET, C ++ / CLI development environment, and various Windows SDKs. With this tool, you place the latest version of the MSBuild Installer separately so that you can create .NET installation packages.

System Requirements and Technical Details

Disconnect from the Internet … so that the installer does not download the list of installed components for the most recent version … the one that may not yet exist in the distribution. If this happens, the installer may not have enough of what is in the distribution and errors with downloading may appear.
If the installer does not have access to the Internet, then install certificates for the installer self-diagnosis by running Certificates_Setup.cmd ON THE NAME OF THE ADMINISTRATOR
